Take Action

01

Write to Council — Demand Immediate Protection

Contact Mayor Woodward and all eight councillors to demand immediate heritage designation for the McGillivray House before any redevelopment permit is issued.

02

Search the TOL Development Portal

Search for the active redevelopment inquiry at 21031 72 Avenue to monitor the application status and any upcoming public hearings.

03

Contact the Langley Heritage Society

The Langley Heritage Society advocates for heritage preservation across the Township. Contact them to add your voice to the call for protection of the McGillivray House.

04

File a Formal Heritage Designation Request

Any resident can formally request that the Township evaluate a property for heritage designation. Submit a written request to the Township's Development Services department citing the 2004 Arlington Group evaluation.

Time is critical

With a redevelopment inquiry already filed and fire damage now on record, the owner may seek a demolition permit. Council must impose heritage protection before that application is processed.
